So many games all decided by melee. So unhistoric! This is why I don't bother. This mod was made for a certain reason but gamey suspects have realized that charging everything in and win quick decides the outcome have ruined the game for me. Should I post links again of casualties and wounds of which bayonets only account for 3%????? This mod we have is such a false render of Napoleonic fighting and when I play NTW3 I would like there to be some kind of relation to our battles and the real thing. Everyone knows to stack up on Grenadiers and Cav to win and lets just have large total front melee but I miss the true fight. I fear I will never see it again!

Clinch doesnt want a key ring he wants it as a chain round his neck so he can be a bald NBC rapper.
Anyway clinch will be back on TS soon its the grinch time of year.

Sorry I was drunk when I was pissing and moaning. However much I agree with my drunk self I dont think I complain about much when im sober. Sorry for my rant but I have to say the games with large amounts of melee really boor me. Im not boycotting or anything just havent had much free time to play. I will try to come on more.

I agree with the drunk Clinch too.
This is something we are working to fix with V3.
The key is the ability of firepower to stop the charge.
This is why I slowed movement in V2.
With V3 we are going to try a more radical treatment.
This will include slower movement & weaker morale.
The firepower has been adjusted too, but I think this will need more work.
As units now fire 2 ranks (mostly) the balance may of shifted (although there are other factors that make shooting more effective), only testing will tell.
