That video lost me at the start. I couldn't understand the stats they use: 76% of Americans live paycheck to paycheck and 27% have no savings at all. Doesn't living paycheck to paycheck mean you have no savings at all? What am I missing?

That being said though, to dismiss something just because someone or some group latches on and tries to use it to sell something is like throwing the baby out with the bathwater.

Yeah, I don't really like the boiling water analogy but whatever.The analogy I always used was the flooded basement: If a pipe bursts and thousands of gallons of water start flooding into your basement all at once, chances are you're going to hear it, wake up, and go downstairs and shut off the water. On the other hand, if a pipe starts to leak slowly and you never go downstairs, one day when you finally do you're going to find your basement flooded.

It's the fabian strategy. Take for example the whole gun control bs in this country. Most people that understand the real reason we have the right to bear arms think that one day the powers that be are going to say ok that's it we're coming for your guns, and all the pro gun people are going to take to streets with all the guns and ammo they've been stockpiling and win or lose there will be another civil war and at the very least they'll go down fighting tyranny in a blaze of glory...Bullshit.

What will really happen is the grandchildren, great grand children or great great grandchildren of the aforementioned "gun nuts" will grow up in a world that's been completely brainwashed by school, popular culture, or something much worse (e.g. global thermonuclear war) and will gladly hand over all the guns they inherited from great grandpa without a drop of blood being shed, permanently enslaving themselves and all generations to come in the name of world peace.

Yeah, there maybe a few hold outs that were brought up with some of grandpa's wisdom, but they'll be nothing the militarized police can't deal with.

In other words, these fucks aren't going to risk a pitched battle. They don't need to. Time is on their side. It always has been and always will be.

If you ask me though we are already "cooked", and have been for some time. Keeping with that analogy, 911 was the "frog" being put on a plate , garnished, and served to the American sheeple.
