hello gents came across this last night,what you think of the changes? volley ans musketry looked and sounded cool,have we had these before?

sounds like all the troops have discovered popcorn and are making up a batch en masse.

Volley fire at the battalion level just isnt correct. These are the things that Darthmod has done. Units did shoot in volley of line at company level but they did not do the British Zulu take a knee and volley forward volley. As for the sounds its the Patch Andy musketry sounds, I use these mixed in with ours for a good sound.

Our current sound is unconvincing. I am not sure if the one used by him was the one we got as an option from Dunk and Bill, but that one was much better. Sound needs an overhaul in general, add a unique tune to all factions and remove the visible general or remove drums completely. Currently the fog of war is ruined by spying across the board.

Where have you all been? Weve went over all this before, we even had the popcorn muskets by andy in the game but many ppl complained. I thought the sounds were good (up close) but didnt carry well in the distance. As far as Harouts comments about all the music, I couldnt agree more.

Volley fire only happened even for the first few shots, after that everyone loaded and fired at will as the smoke filled the air and the screams of the dead and dying rendered everyone deaf lol.
This organized continuous volley fire is just not realistic.
