Yep i would strongly suggest getting a SSD(I've just fitted a samsung 500GB 850 ssd to my rig) for programs/games etc and u should also treat your self to one of those Hybrid SSHD for your media(again I've just fitted a 4 TB SSHD in the last week)

From personal experience I would also advise u to get an I7 CPU, GTX970(or770) GPU, 8GB Ram minimum, a decent air cooled case, a decent CPU cooler. When combined with an SSD and a SSHD u will have a powerful PC which should last u many years

U could also treat your self to a 27" IPS Monitor 2560 x 1440(NTW3 looks damn fine at this Res)
