2v2 Tournament for fun

I was thinking about having a 2v2 tournament amongst N members just for some extra fun. It will be played with the vanilla NTW game for now (until the mod gets more balanced) and teams will be completely random. Rules will be 2 art max (no unicorns or fixed), 5 lights max, and 5 cav max. Each team will play each other 2 sucessive times so that each team is in the position of attacking once and defending once. The tie-breaker will be # of kills. I'm hoping to get about 5 teams to play and have the tournament last over the course of a month. Reply to this thread if interested and we will see if we can get this going.

Better set up a tournament list and elimination chart and state the exact rules etc. Every detail and possible situation must be accounted for or else youll have a potential civil war.

Btw if im not back i can do the Impartial "Draw" if needed and if teams are to be completely random,as i think they should be.Id enjoy just drawing the teams,seeing who sqaures up against who.
I also say as the title it should be FUN so lets kep rules to a minimum,we are N and should get some great banter going.
I think we need to decide which maps were using,everything else should sort itself!

we just need 10-12 brave souls to sign up!!

MMM good question about howies LS,i think they should be allowed everyone can pick them if they want theres only 2 max and they wont help much on grassly flats.
1st map played will be grassly flatlands then 1st team attacks then defends.If its 1 win each we go to kills to encourage a swift and decisive attack.

Obviously before someone pipes up,you dont have to defend if you wish to also attack.

I doubt i will be back so i can do the draw and keep an eye on things as i can be impartial.

HOWEVER i do expect all I corps to enter,its vanilla so theres no excuses.If its ok with clinchy boy we will look for 14 people max if we have them before i do a "Draw".

It would be nice if howitzers were limited to 1 each. It limits what I call "camp behind the hill till the enemy howitzers are dead" disease.

Ok if its ok with clinch,howie limit set to 1 per player./not 2 per team.Seems a reasonable request.
all we need is a few worthy soldiers to show there worth.
Plus we wouldnt want a howie fest on dresden now would we?
