"Fat Bastard" is an excellent wine for the rich. At upwards of $9.99 U.S. a bottle we little people can rarely afford such luxuries.

Here is a more affordable alternative:

I've avoided the large rows of Fat Bastard from the get-go, as I've been conscious of self-defamation. I will try it. My days of Mad Dog are over I hope.

Tried an Aussie Pinot Noir last week. Not like the Trapiche by no means, but had a nice clinging dry flavor that hung on gums. This week was Trapiche Malbec. Very nice in that it had robust-but not too so- flavor and so well balanced was strong suit it seems. Actually put a tiny pinch of cinnamon in the one glass last night. Still prefer the natural spice of the Noir.
PS Tried a glass of a cheap white after the Malbec, found it repulsive. I'm a snob already.

You didn't really put cinnamon in your wine, right?

The 'clinginess' of a wine is it's 'tannicity', or the amount of tannic acid in the wine. A good wine should linger for a bit, but it shouldn't leave you feeling as though you just spent an hour sucking cotton balls.

I know it was a faux pas doing so, but yes I did.
Yes, I'm beginning to appreciate the tannic quality of the deep reds.
I am transforming into a Conq hybrid. I actually listened to half of La Traviata while housekeeping and laundry today. I need a libretto with English translation from online.

Well then, obviously your selections of wine are much more effective than mine; I'll have two bottles thank you. And please remind me to relinquish my TeamSpeak privileges prior to finishing off the second bottle.

Well, this is where I diverge to be only a hybrid, as I truly convey affections only to the weaker sex.
tbh I think that it shan't take but a good jigger to get Conq all giddy and lingerie clad, feigning coyness as he would clutch the curtains of the Emperor's balcony curtains. Well! somebodys gotta do it!
