Seriously now , our forum is a very important tool for recruiting, and clan prestige, so if the forum has to replect our glory , i dont expect less than a Caravaggio.

Why is everyone hell-bent on recruiting. As the game gets cheaper the quality of players goes down. We all purchased NTW because we were passionate about the game and the time period. There are going to be more and more people who buy the game just because they want a new game. In recruiting, quality is so much more important than numbers. Do we really want to recruit people who will be around for only a month.

Although quality is paramount in our designs it is good to have Velite Clinch remind us of our priorities.
Perhaps a more rigorous Velite evaluation period with more harassment and ridicule would be in order?
I know I have been much too nice to the recent Velite plebes.
Not like the old days when I would whip and beat Fullin three times a day and twice at night.

Indeed the only remedy for clinches post is to return to those dark yet somehow gratifying days.

@ sloop ,i think i was invited by an ageing over indulging officer who bored with endless wins on ntw2 saw in a young Tac a bit of himself (well the good bits anyway) and decided to train this young padwan in the art of napoleonic warfare.
However little did he know the apprentice would himself turn out to be even darker and unforgiving than the master himself...
