Historical Battle of Waterloo played on the 197th Anniversary of the Battle:

Jeringa and [N] Fullin (French) vs. AggonySparton and [N] Sloop (British)

Grueling 90 Minute Battle with Heavy Casualties on both sides. There were far too many turn of events in the battle for me to list them here but after grueling firefights and melle engangements along with constant artillery fire, the French captured La Haye Saint for there 4th VP. They held it until the 20 minute mark at which time the British launched an all out attack on La Haye Saint to recappture it. However, because General Fullin was bringing up fresh units of Old Guard, the odds were heavy in the French favor. Just before this attack, the British recaptured Freichermont putting the French at 3 VP (A win). If the British had captured La Haye Saint, it would've been a Draw (2 VP) but because General Fullin dropped in the last 13 minutes of the game, the outcome was far from certain although it was very likely a French "Marginal Victory" (3 VPs). Due to the unfortunate disappearance of General Fullin though, the battle went heavy in the British's favor. The British were able to recapture La Haye Saint, Hougomont, and lastly push for the French LOC winning the battle.

Great battle to watch guys if you are willing to sit through the 90 minutes of chaos. But in reality, that is all this battle truly was. There were so many units to command in a 2v2 and there was slight lag. This caused quite a few reckless mistakes to be made on both teams which likely could have or did change the outcome of an engagement. Also, due to the sheer size of the army it is nearly impossible to effectively manage your entire army. It is all together impossible to make full use of your skills and micro-manage your entire army. So, in summary while this was quite an epic battle and fun to play it is too chaotic to be a true tactical test of skill. Still great fun to play a battle of this type on occasion though.

A closing note: I think the amount of points each objective is worth needs to be changed. La Haye Saint at the very least should be worth more than Hougomont.
