That is great! Any drops? I just downloaded the mod (however it is the beta version wagram). I'll see if I can get up with you guys on teamspeak when it is up. Hopefully I won't have the same problems with ntw3.

Hey gents, a little vid of a Napoleonic battle on Scourge of war. Battles rage from 3v3 to 10v10 and bigger.
It does have its flaws but its positives are very good and a very enjoyable game. Modding is becoming more and more involved as well.

Looks and sounds horrible, not entirely a game breaker. Units move so slow. How does it play?

Well Clinch sounds like CA and Total War are right up your ally. Have fun with your eye candy piece of shit engine game.

For those who want a better game, check it out has lots of promise.

Just messing with ya Clinch.

Its a game you either love or hate not alot of middle ground. I enjoy the level of command options. I do wish it looked better though.

Guys,

You have to understand that huge scales like the ones offered by scourge of war and similar game cannot offer the same level of detail as CA games because they would be impossible to run. Too much memory.
Since everyone but me uses the free camera to look at the battlefield from the moon, seeing ants on the battlefield, in very poor resolution settings, what does it matter if the games looks average to start with?

yet it can look better with no more memory.

better textures and sound will do the trick.

Sometimes , less detail can be more.

a restricted camera at 20 yards on top of unit will allow you define a better definition to units at that level at the end of the day you dont need to see voltigeurs eyes colour.

so if you fix the camera and work on that distance texture, better inmersion and more quality can easily be achieved.
