Its a shame because our work was actually better than Darth in the graphic department.
But iam really happy to see this concept coming along , because that is what think a Nap game should be.

I did not know that Ns ambitions were that great. Too bad it did not pan out. I must say though, monolith blocks are fine for a presentation, when it comes to making a game on them though, my take is that they are a bit... unwieldy. I think JMM had made a Napoleonic computer game which used blocks in a 3d world. Some time in the 90s? Can't remember the title.

P.S. Darth's game will support phones/tablets etc... That and wording in his announcement point to a more... casual game it seems. I'm a bit disappointed but it's not like darth was a hardcore realism advocate in his modding years either.

Indeed, my good Lancier.
But, I was mistaken, I was thinking of another game, and after some googling....

Ok, everyone download this and we meet on TS in... oh shit, they hadn't invented the internet yet in 1989, so it doesn't have multiplayer. :fist:

Brings back some good memories and just shows you dont need amazing graphics just knowledge and an imagination.

Back in the good ole' days, all we had were paper computers and brains.
This was the first wargame I played in 1967:

Panzer Blitz, Panzer Leader, all of the Squad Leader series. Man hours of Axis and Allies with my brothers. Plenty of throwing dice and fist fights. Plus a lot of shit talk involved:)!
