I did not know that Ns ambitions were that great. Too bad it did not pan out. I must say though, monolith blocks are fine for a presentation, when it comes to making a game on them though, my take is that they are a bit... unwieldy. I think JMM had made a Napoleonic computer game which used blocks in a 3d world. Some time in the 90s? Can't remember the title.

P.S. Darth's game will support phones/tablets etc... That and wording in his announcement point to a more... casual game it seems. I'm a bit disappointed but it's not like darth was a hardcore realism advocate in his modding years either.

La Grande Armée at Austerlitz (LGAA) tho i read impressions not very good ^^

This got me thinking about the first napoleonic game i ever played,the one that gave me the bug when i was 16 i valued and read the booklet so much it was like my bible.
Does anyone remember it? or what was yours? this was in 1987 btw.

I remember hours and hours of axis and allies in a friends basement and that douschebag who always took uk and joined the axis. Ruined every fucking game

Panzer Blitz, Panzer Leader, all of the Squad Leader series. Man hours of Axis and Allies with my brothers. Plenty of throwing dice and fist fights. Plus a lot of shit talk involved:)!

I played that game a lot , I hgad a pirate version so I had to decipher all the orders and command as played it again and again , plus I made a map of what I thought Austerlitz was (look more like moon base tranquility than eastern europe)
