I think it looks really good. I do love the original SOW. I know this game system is not for everyone but it could be a new Napoleonic game for us to play one that you can play 10 v10 on in MP and one that will be a lot more stable. You can also play the game in many different modes including HITS (hq in the saddle). Just a thought fellas. I will be getting this one for sure.

This looks like something I will have to buy even if I don't want to.

This could be our new Napoleonic game. 10v10 on SOW are pretty awesome! I have played around fifty large SOW battles some taking three or more hours with no crashes or drops. The game has a true command structure.

Picture this if you will.

Tac as Emperor picks Napoleon or a Corps commander depending on the fight. Tac's command range with his ability to view sub units is massive and he can view with aids bringing reports in more of the battle. Sloop commands a corps his view is smaller than Tacs but large enough to command his Division commanders. Clinch has a Division and can order his Brigades or command a Brigade and order the others all this with all commanders being players and not AI.

If we want to be very realistic with the difficulty we can play MP HITS with the messenger system. Tac writes an order to Sloop than Sloop interpits the order and either does it or writes his own order to send to Clinch and he iterpits the order and follows it. Tac writes to Sloop to take Village A but Sloop thinks Village B is more important so he can write back stating that or he can just follow orders there is now chat unless the two commander are near each other it is pretty cool.

First of all, if ordered to take village A, I will take village A.

The game sounds and looks very good. SOW was not too popular among us. We will just have to try it.

Unless village B has potato vodka then village A will be bypassed for more important village B.
