Great to hear Lepic, cant think of a nap game without your involvement sir ! After HBs we must find another game to play LGA side by side against Druid and Falkon allies right ?! ;>> Couple of months max i bet.

The battlefield is a scene of constant chaos. The winner will be the one who controls that chaos, both his own and the enemies.

Napoleon Bonaparte

^^

I have had about 6 MP battles now. The game is drastically better with humans controlling the units. KS guys have modded and ported a lot over to WL already so there is promise for MP. SP is bad.

Agree. I think KS is what 'lordz is for ntw' but they for sow instead. Just they play HITS (Headquarters In The Saddle) thats why i created a new group -sownc- so we can use their mod but free cam instead.

GB demo Hits view is set to 2 yards for the max camera away from the player. It is not recommended to play that way unless your a veteran with the game and know how to play with the courier system. Would be happy to help anyone interested as I play with couriers only. KS mod sets the camera at 15 yard max I believe so its a bit better because the commands are larger.

They make it again 2 for SoWW mod i think Bill?
KS wrote:Max camera distance from you: 2 (set in sowwl.ini file, see below)
sowwl.ini file. It will be found in the My Documents\SowWL folder. Open it and scroll down until you find the section titled [Custom]
Find and change the value found for MPplyrradius to MPplyrradius=2
You can also change the value of plyrradius to plyrradius=2 This way you can practice commanding in single player at this camera height.

I keep it zero so no limit i think but still i believe playing only with couriers is fun i think and using no voice chat ?

surely no one is suggesting the use of voice chat?
other than 1 channel for all system? (pre game start setup)
it would be i feel a very backward step when there is such an opportunity here to remove voice chat completely
it would destroy the courier system which for me is the best bit
any screen shots images of this view as a comparison please?

Lepic, if you follow the rules than courier is the only way to communicate unless the two or more commanders are physically next to each other than they can join a separate chat room to talk.

I love this rule, I have my own private TS channel I can secretly invite my accomplices to.
