Good game last night! We played a 2v2 advance guard action, with allies attacking. This turned into a rather entertaining little race against the clock, with plenty of maneuvering and action. Tac dropped half way and the liberated AI launched a rather lively attack and then pursuit of the retreating French. Thanks for the game, all!

P.S. The second image shows the situation seconds before end of the battle, with the French defending the 20%-losses point. So, in the end a draw indeed.

Thank you my Fremen friend for participating...I remember very well your clever insights on the grand scale startegy from the previous campaign, I have to say, your tactical view of the napoleonic warefare is very grand as well.

My pleasure, Fullin. This is best way to play this game imho. Hope you'll persevere and there are more campaigns to come. (I still have wet dreams of a Russian campaign; Danube campaign would do as well ;)

@ Lancier. 3v3, I would say: AI decided to help us ;)

I think, the French made it difficult for themselves by deploying a rather large part of their force in or along the woods on the allied left flank, which opened for the allies the opportunity to advance along the main road. Losses were rather low though, partly due to the French retreating in good order, but also because both sides took relatively little cavalry.

@Fullin, what battle was this? Just a campaign version battle or one of the actual campaign battles that is currently going on?
